Certificate, CEU & CRCC Requirements
The ADA Title II tutorial has been approved for credit for continuing education units (CEU) and Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). You may apply for credit for either or both, as long as you are eligible.
$FREE tutorial and education credit. Please completely review the requirements for the credit that you are seeking.
Certificate of Completion
A“Certificate of Completion” is not issued for the ADA Title II tutorial.
You may document your completion of this tutorial by printing the results of your Post-Test, which identifies your name, date tutorial completed, and Post-Test score.
CEU: Continuing Education Units
The ADA Title II tutorial has been approved by the University College at Syracuse University for 0.3 continuing education units (CEU), which equates to 3 contact hours.
CEU credit is $FREE, but you are responsible for completing and mailing a University College CEU form.
To earn 0.3 CEU, you must:
- Complete the Pre-Test.
- Finish all 9 modules (a module is finished after all its pages are viewed).
- Score 90% or better on the Post Test.
- Complete and mail a University College CEU form (instructions will be provided after passing the Post Test).
CRCC: Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification
The ADA Title II tutorial has been approved by
the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC)
for 3 CRCC credit hours.
You may apply for CRCC Credit as if you meet the eligibility requirements established for rehabilitation counselors and wish to extend your certification status as a CRC, CCRC, CRC-MAC, CRC-CS or CRC-MAC-CS. Additional information may be obtained through the CRCC website regarding CRCC certification standards and the application process

CRCC credit is $FREE, but you are responsible for completing and mailing a Verification of Completion form.
To earn 3 CRCC credit hours, you must:
- Complete the Pre-Test.
- Finish all 9 modules (a module is finished after all its pages are viewed).
- Score 90% or better on the Post Test.
- Complete and mail a Verification of Completion form (instructions will be provided after passing the Post Test).
Note on ADA Consultant Certification
Completion of the ADA Title II tutorial does not certify you as an ADA Consultant. "ADA Consultant Certification" does not exist nor is recognized by any Federal enforcement agency.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) states the following in a technical assistance letter dated October 15, 1993:
"The Department of Justice does not certify or endorse any individual or organization as ADA consultants, and does not approve or endorse any products or designs as being in compliance with the ADA. Any individual or business claiming to have such a certification or endorsement may be violating various state and federal laws prohibiting fraud and misrepresentation."
